What are briefs?
Briefs - This is a classic and most common model of women's underwear, which completely or almost completely covers the buttocks.
The name comes from the English verb slip (to glide), which indicates a soft and smooth fit without constriction. The main design features of briefs are mid-thigh cutouts, a closed back, and a wide side panel, ensuring a secure fit.
Briefs are considered a staple in any underwear wardrobe thanks to their anatomically correct cut. They allow unrestricted movement and are suitable for everyday wear.

Main types
The design of the slips varies depending on the landing height and the materials used.
- Midi — a classic mid-rise style with elastic that sits just below the waist. This style is universally flattering for most body types.
- Maxi — high-waisted briefs that reach to the navel or above. They often provide light shaping and support for the abdomen.
- Mini - a model with a low waist and narrow side part, revealing the upper part of the thighs.
- Seamless slips — microfiber models with laser-cut edges. They have no protruding seams or tight elastic bands.
- Lace slips - decorative models in which the back or front part is made entirely of elastic lace.

How to wear
The choice of a specific model of briefs depends on the cut and material of the outerwear.
Basic cotton briefs pair well with casual, loose-fitting or semi-fitted clothing. They pair well with straight-leg jeans, chinos, flared skirts, and A-line dresses.

Seamless nude briefs are worn under form-fitting clothing such as thin knitwear, pencil skirts, or slip dresses. This helps prevent the VPL (visible panty line) effect.
High-waisted maxi briefs pair well with high-waisted trousers and jeans to prevent the waist from bunching up. Low-waisted (mini) briefs are worn with low-waisted clothing to prevent the hem from peeking above the waistband.
