What is Relax Fit?
Relaxed-fit — is a cut of clothing that provides freedom of movement due to a slight increase in the volume of the garment compared to a standard (regular) silhouette.

The key principle of this cut is that the garment gently follows the contours of the body without clinging. Allowance for ease averages 2–4 centimeters.
The concept of relaxed fit denotes the golden mean between a classic fitted fit (slim or regular) and exaggerated volume (oversize).
Distinctive features
The shoulder seam in a relaxed fit garment is either natural or dropped by 1–2 centimeters. This is the main difference from an oversized garment, where the shoulder line is significantly lower.
The armholes and sleeves are flared for comfort, while maintaining a neat shape and preventing bulky folds of fabric under the arms.

Relaxed silhouette trousers and jeans have a standard waist, but are distinguished by a loose fit in the hip area and straight legs that do not restrict the walk.
Relaxed-fit garments are designed with anatomical considerations in mind. A jacket or shirt doesn't look like it was bought several sizes too big; they're tailored from the start to maintain basic proportions while adding airiness to the silhouette.
What to combine with
The key styling principle is volume balance. A relaxed top, such as a relaxed-fit blouse, pairs harmoniously with straight or semi-fitted bottoms, such as a pencil skirt or classic straight-leg trousers.

Loose bottoms require a compact top. Jeans or relaxed-fit pants are paired with fitted turtlenecks, tops, or bodysuits to accentuate the waist.
A combination of loose trousers and a relaxed jacket (a totally relaxed look) is appropriate for a smart-casual wardrobe. For this look, use dense, shape-retaining fabrics such as wool or heavy cotton to prevent the silhouette from looking sloppy.

As for footwear, the relaxed silhouette is perfectly complemented by loafers with a chunky sole, basic urban sneakers, Chelsea boots, or ankle boots with a stable heel.
