What is eco-leather?
Eco-leather — is a modern artificial material consisting of a fabric base (cotton or polyester) coated with a microporous polyurethane coating. The material was created as an ethical, breathable, and durable alternative to genuine leather, as well as the outdated polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-based leatherette.

The production technology completely eliminates the use of toxic plasticizers. The polyurethane film, during the formation process, forms micropores that allow air circulation, making the finished fabric comfortable for everyday wear.
Distinctive features
The main feature of eco-leather is its high breathability. Thanks to polyurethane micropores, the material allows air to pass through freely, eliminating the greenhouse effect when wearing closed dresses, shirts, or thick trousers.

Visually and tactilely, polyurethane fabric is difficult to distinguish from its natural counterpart. Faux leather is soft, flexible, and warms quickly upon contact with the skin. Hot stamping technology allows for the imitation of any texture: from a smooth matte surface to complex crocodile or snakeskin patterns. For example, classic straight trench coats and biker jackets are made from thick, smooth faux leather, while thin, stretchy faux leather is used for leggings and fitted skirts.
The material is highly resistant to external factors. The polyurethane layer does not harden in freezing temperatures, does not crack due to sudden temperature changes, and exhibits high abrasion resistance at the elbows and knees.
How to care
Everyday cleaning of faux leather clothing doesn't require complex professional dry cleaning. Dust and light dirt can be removed with a soft, damp cloth or sponge dipped in a mild soap solution. For stubborn stains, use specialized foam cleaners for faux leather.

Damp items should be dried only at room temperature. Jackets, coats, and skirts should be kept away from radiators and direct sunlight to prevent the polyurethane layer from drying out and deforming.

When cleaning the material, it is strictly forbidden to use hard brushes, abrasive cleaning powders, chlorine bleaches, or aggressive solvents. These substances destroy the structure of the polymer film, causing deep cracks and delamination.
Faux leather clothing should be stored flat in the closet. Using wide, anatomically shaped hangers prevents stretching of the shoulder seams and the formation of permanent creases in the smooth fabric.
