What is hair botox?
Hair Botox — is a cosmetic salon procedure aimed at deep hydration, nutrition and restoration of the hair shaft structure.
The name is purely a marketing ploy: the product does not contain botulinum toxin. The term has become popular due to the visual smoothing and filling effect, similar to that of facial injections.

The active serum contains amino acids, vitamin complexes, hyaluronic acid, plant extracts, and natural oils. These components penetrate the cortex and fill the voids in damaged areas.
When understanding hair Botox, it's important to understand that the procedure isn't chemical straightening. It's an intensive treatment that thickens strands, reduces porosity, prevents breakage, and restores natural shine.
Main types
In beauty salons, the procedure is divided into two main types depending on the method of action on the strands.
Cold Botox is performed without the use of high temperatures. The restorative solution is applied to washed hair and then left in place under a climazone or thermal cap. This method is designed exclusively to treat and moisturize severely damaged or bleached hair. It does not alter the hair structure and preserves the natural curl.

Hot Botox involves a thermal treatment. After application and partial rinsing, the hair is straightened with a flat iron at 180–230 degrees Celsius. This seals the beneficial ingredients within the cuticle, providing a gentle straightening effect, completely eliminating frizz, and creating a mirror-like shine.

How to care
To maintain the results, which last on average one to three months, you'll need to adjust your home routine. The key is to use gentle, sulfate-free shampoos to prevent the product from quickly washing out of the hair.

For the first 48–72 hours after a hot treatment, it is recommended to avoid washing your hair. You should also avoid using hair clips, tight elastics, and braids to prevent creases in the straightened strands.
After each wash, blow-dry your hair. The polymer components are activated by the warm air, restoring your hair's original smoothness and flow.
Additionally, regular use of moisturizing masks once or twice a week is required. Before styling with hot tools, be sure to apply heat-protective sprays or creams to prevent dry ends.
